Randall Martin grew up in eastern Idaho and loved to draw and paint an early age. Winning many art competitions during his school years just added to his love for art. He completed a Bachelors Degree in Commercial and Fine Art at Utah State University. He started working after graduation as a Technical Illustrator for a exercise company and doing freelance spot illustrations for local papers. He then started working for the garment industry doing illustrations for most National Parks and other travel destinations. The last several years was spent illustrating children's books, poster and advertisements for a private school with locations all over the western US.

He is now focusing on painting with oils and the great outdoors is his main inspiration. Now that his three children are raised Randall and his wife Pam are traveling the country as much as possible for inspiration for his art
